The Team Type defines the number of players and their Roles.
You may create as many Team Types as you need per project. The Roles themselves are first created as a Group and then used in the Team Type configuration.
Example: a game involves teams of three people competing against other teams across any one of 5 zones around a city.
Figure 101 shows the Group configuration page in which two Group structures have been created for the example game:
- Zones is a parent Group with five children representing the zones to which teams belong
- Player Roles is a parent Group representing the three possible roles for members of the team.
Figure 102 shows one configured Team Type called Survivors. Note that:
- Roles are initially grabbed from the Group selected in the drop-down (A)
- Roles must then be edited for display to the Audience (B)
