Random number and Random code generation

Instantly generate random numbers, alphabetical or alphanumeric codes that can be sent to the audience for authentication across platforms. For example, an incoming email gets a reply asking for a random code to be sent back via SMS. When it's texted back the email and sending mobile number are matched to the same audience record allow you to cross-trigger experiences.

Random number and code generation is an option in the Change Action.

The image below indicates that you must select where to store the code when it’s generated and then select “Random Value” in the To: drop-down.

The “Consisting of:” drop-down and the radio buttons below offer a range of options that determine how the code is generated.

The “Custom characters” option allows you to define which characters and numbers are to be included in the randomly generated code.
